A Prayer Journey for My Children

Day 4 Teachability... is allowing ourselves to be instructed by the Lord.

Proverbs 2:1,10
1 My son, if you accept my words
and store up my commands within you,
10 For wisdom will enter your heart,
and knowledge will be pleasant to your soul.

Father, You are the Giver of every good and perfect gift.
Thank You that You want to give wisdom and instruction to my children.
Lord, I desire that the very center of their being be like a dry sponge
to soak up Your sweet and refreshing teachings.

Jeremiah 9:23-24
23 This is what the LORD says:
"Let not the wise man boast of his wisdom
or the strong man boast of his strength
or the rich man boast of his riches,

24 but let him who boasts boast about this:
that he understands and knows me,
that I am the LORD, who exercises kindness,
justice and righteousness on earth,
for in these I delight,"
declares the LORD.

God, You are the deep spring of all wisdom and knowledge that flows to us daily.
I humbly ask that they will not boast in their own wisdom
but will allow themselves to be instructed in life by You, the Giver of life.
Grant them a teachable spirit.
